William G. Whittaker earned his undergraduate degree (B.A. 1979) from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga 
and his graduate degree (J.D. 1982) from The University of Tennessee and was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1982. Mr. Whittaker began his practice of law in Matthews in 1988 with the firm and became a partner in the firm in 1998. Mr. Whittaker is licensed in Tennessee and his practice is focused primarily in the areas of domestic relations, family law and bankruptcy law. In 2003, Mr. Whittaker was presented with the Mecklenburg County Bar Association Award as the Lawyer Referral Service Member of the Year for distinguished service.
